Sports Massage

Sports massage can aid issues such as stiffness, delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and muscle stress caused by repetitive physical activity.

You don’t need to be injured to benefit from sports massage. It has many benefits including, increasing tissue healing, breaking down adhesions, preparing tissue for activity and drainage of swelling. If you have a physically demanding job, or you exercise a couple of times a week, then you could also benefit from a sports massage.

Sports Massage is super effective at relieving pain from injury, improving recovery from exercise and competition and relaxing knots in soft tissue structures.

Whenever we train, run, swim, lift or move in daily life, we are breaking down muscle tissue. If left untreated, little micro tears that can develop into “knots” and areas of pain, tension & discomfort leading to reduced performance.

Deep tissue therapy is used to break down scar tissue that is formed in injured muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is beneficial throughout the entire nine months of the pregnancy; however, if you are having a high risk pregnancy it is best to discuss your condition with your midwife or physician before seeking a therapist. After doing so you may be able to receive massage work with a written release. Benefits include: decrease swelling, ease muscles, relaxation and helps eliminate toxins!
